HOW DO I DO PARAMYOG?

ParamYog brings mental peace, rhythm, and harmony in daily life. It is the SPIRITUAL aspect of P3Y.

Posture

Keep your backbone (spinal cord), neck and forehead straight.
You may sit, stand or lie down (without a pillow) on your back.
Place your hands one over the other in your lap.
Do not clinch your hands together.
Close your eyes.
Place your top set of incisors on top of the lower set (in biting position). Let your tongue be still where it is.
Now proceed with Param Svas or Param Nad.

Breath

Param Svas
Open your lips slightly and inhale through your mouth (as in normal breathing). Now, close your lips, pull your teeth a little apart and exhale though your nose . Do this 3 to 10 times.

Param Nad
Open your lips slightly and inhale through your mouth (as in normal breathing). Now, close your lips, pull your teeth a little apart and exhale though your nose while producing a humming sound like a bee. Do this 3 to 10 times.
